Today we went to the “gymnasium” which is the equivalent of a public school in the U.S. but one found in a community such as Westwood/Newton. Then we went to the “Cotton Museum” where we lost weight leaning about the history of the textile industry from the 5th century B.C. to the present. As you can see we learned a lot…..
Now that we have touched upon the daily activities let’s talk about what really happened today!
While we were driving home our host mother stopped and bought 3 liters of some “interesting” type of soda? On the way home she gave a bottle tot Sarah, yes while driving… and told her to chug it. We both looked at each other and were like she wants you to drink this from the 2 liter bottle in the car while falling into potholes??????????????? So Sarah “the trooper” tried to open it and it had been bounced around too much and let’s just say it did not end up in her mouth., I was just glad I decided to be nice and sit in the back for this drive!! J
