The Russian Compliment?

At lunch one day our host mother tried to tell Sarah that she was smart but it translated into “big head” and all of the Americans thought that was hysterical!!!! Sarah promptly translated it to “big Brain”. Well the problem was we were eating lunch and we were trying to learn the word for chicken and we ended up calling her “chicken brain” and it kind of stuck. Then our host mother felt so bad so now Sarah is no longer crazy Sarah but big brained crazy Sarah?????
